Ahsoka Fan Poster Imagines Clone Wars Flashback
A new fan poster for Disney+'s upcoming Ahsoka TV show imagines a Clone Wars flashback featuring Bo-Katan and Captain Rex. Ahsoka Tano became a fan-favorite character quickly after she appeared in the movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars in 2008. Ahsoka was absent from the live-action prequel trilogy but played a pivotal role in the subsequent Clone Wars and Rebels TV shows. Twelve years after her first appearance, Ahsoka was finally introduced to the live-action canon in The Mandalorian season 2, where Rosario Dawson took on the role.
Dawson's portrayal of the character was well-received, and with Disney quickly expanding the Star Wars franchise on Disney+, it wasn't a huge surprise when an Ahsoka spinoff was announced. Dawson will be returning to play the iconic Togruta, with Ray Stevenson playing a villainous admiral and Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ivanna Sakhno in undisclosed roles. Natasha Liu Bordizzo has also been cast as the live-action Sabine Wren, who was last seen at the end of Star Wars: Rebels. The biggest casting announcement thus far has been Hayden Christensen, who will again return as Anakin Skywalker after his upcoming appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi. It's unknown if Bo-Katan or Rex will return in Ahsoka, but a new fan poster from jbdesign512 imagines just that. The artwork shows Bo-Katan, Ahsoka, and Captain Rex in the middle of the Siege of Mandalore, with the artist theorizing the Star Wars show could feature Clone Wars flashbacks.

Anakin In Ahsoka Can Pay Off George Lucas’ Most Controversial ROTJ Change
Story of Ahsoka isn't known at this point, but after her role in The Mandalorian season 2, it's likely the show will revolve around her search for Grand Admiral Thrawn, the main villain in Star Wars: Rebels. With the series introducing Sabine Wren to live-action canon, it's possible Ahsoka could also include Ezra Bridger, Chopper, Zeb, Hera, and Kanan. Including Anakin in the series also points to Ahsoka featuring Clone Wars flashbacks, unless Christensen is strictly returning as a force ghost. Since Bo-Katan and Captain Rex were key players in the animated Star Wars shows, it would make sense for them to be included in Ahsoka. The Book of Boba Fett "Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian" briefly showed the events of The Night of a Thousand Tears, which is when the Galactic Empire massacred the Mandalorians. Seeing more of the Great Purge of Mandalore in flashbacks would not only be quite the spectacle in Ahsoka, but it would also provide context for where Ahsoka was earlier in the timeline before her first live-action appearance.
