Chris Pratt Reveals Sweet Way His Family
Chris Pratt shares how his family welcomed him home after wrapping up filming on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Director James Gunn recently revealed that production has wrapped for the upcoming Marvel Studios films. With that, Pratt has finally been able to reunite with his wife and kids. The development and production of the film were both tumultuous, resulting in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 being significantly delayed. It was supposed to release in the aftermath of the Infinity Saga. However, due to Gunn's firing and eventual rehiring from his directing duties, the project was pushed back. By the time principal photography was ready to begin, the coronavirus pandemic made things more difficult for his cast and crew. Luckily, when shooting started, it progressed quietly. Plot details are still scant at the moment, but it's expected to deal with the unknown whereabouts of the original Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and the upcoming introduction of Will Poulter's Adam Warlock. Several set images have also given fans their first look at some of the movie's characters, including some new aliens.

The news of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 wrapping up, Pratt reveals that he has come home to his family. In a new Twitter post, he shares an image of a cake that reads "Welcome Home DADDY!" The actor also confirmed the fact that the MCU threequel has ended production and that he is "grateful to be home." While filming for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 went by smoothly, Pratt has encountered some controversy as of late. In late April, a growing call for Pratt to be recast as the MCU's Star-Lord started gaining traction. The issue started through a social media post that suggests that Pratt be simply replaced by Patrick Wilson since they look quite similar to each other. There was no reason given for this petition but it quickly became viral and even caught the attention of Gunn. Unfortunately, however, for those who are backing this initiative, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 helmer shot it down, questioning the logic behind the campaign — especially this late into Pratt's stint in the MCU.
MCU cosmic team. Gunn has been vocal about the film ending the run for the original roster of the Guardians of the Galaxy, with one or two deaths on the horizon. Whether or not Star-Lord is one of those is unknown. In any case, before the cosmic threequel, fans will see the Guardians of the Galaxy gang first in Thor: Love and Thunder as they help Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in his new mission.
